My interest in landscape photography started in high school.

Living in New Hampshire at the time, and being surrounded by miles of woods and fields, made my deep appreciation of the natural world and our relationship with it possible.

I strive to make images that serve as metaphors for my own state of mind at the time while I'm photographing. As Jim Dine put it, "a closer connect between heart and hand."
