Welcome to Photography 1. This site will provide you with course materials such as the syllabus, and readings.
The major concern of most students who are beginning their study of photograhy is what kind of camera is appropriate for the course. There are two kinds of cameras we will be using this semester- the 35mm SLR type and the 120mm Holga. For more information please explore the Camera Information links as well as vendors listed under Resources. Click HERE for the class materials list with links to off-campus sources.
"When I'm experimenting with an idea, I'll determine the technical aspects well beforehand, so when I'm shooting, I don't need to think. This lets me be as receptive to the moment as possible." - Chris McDonough
